The applications of Moellhausen products, associated with physico-chemical and functional characteristics other than sensory aspects, are extremely numerous. A large number of the products offered, including products used for flavours and fragrances, feature properties that elect them to the role of “special function formulation supports” and raw materials for fine chemical and chemical-extractive processes. Moellhausen products are used in a very diverse range of sectors as the active ingredients for aromatherapy, homeopathic medicines, and natural pharmaceuticals, sunscreens, biodegradable solvents, colorants, nutraceuticals, detergents, sanitizers, transdermal penetration promoters, local anaesthetics, antioxidants, etc.

We are qualified, pragmatic, and creative. We are capable and proactive. Moellhausen can provide fragrances for any application or end product. We formulate and produce fragrances for fine perfumery (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and fragrances for any specific chemical matrix and scented product (cosmetics, soaps and detergents, household products, waxes, glues, etc.). We have the creative capacity and marketing skill to formulate innovative, high-profile fragrances consistent with a client's marketing strategy and with olfactory qualities that enhance the concept of the final product. In fact, we operate on two strategic levels: technical and artistic. But there’s more. Moellhausen tests fragrances in relation to their end product use, conducting stability and performance tests in hydroalcoholic solutions (perfume, cologne, eau de toilette, and after-shave) and on bases for toiletries and cosmetic products, household products, l&l, and other industrial products (e.g. waxes, paper, products for tanning, rubber, gasoline). On request, we also conduct special tests on clients’ chemical matrices. Specifically, we conduct statistically significant sensory evaluations in the critical phases of end product use. Accordingly, we test the washing of fabrics, dishes, and hard surfaces, and we simulate other processes of end product use, entrusting a panel of experts and other assessors - typically a sample of consumers called upon for their sensory opinion of the product fragrance - with judgment from multiple points of view (for example, general impact, perceived notes, environmental diffusion), and in the "moments of product use" (such as modification of the olfactory notes and the persistence and tenacity of the fragrance on the contacted, diverse materials). We have the skill and enthusiasm to create new, original, and exceptional fragrances. What’s more, we help our clients improve their products and their business through the reformulation of existing fragrances to simplify production and achieve an ever-greater level of competitiveness and quality.
